Nothing and absolutely nothing can beat a nice big mug of masala chai on a rainy day!
I have always been an avid coffee enthusiast, and hardly had any tea at all. But all that changed after getting married.
My mum-in-law, makes the BEST ever tea, this is her chai masala recipe. Every time, it's the same authentic taste of a delicious masala chai. I had never had tea before with mint or even lemon grass. But she brews such a perfect combination of tea, milk, sugar, this masala, mint leaves and also lemon grass, that even if I am getting sick with acidity, I will have at least 3 - 4 big mugs of tea a day!
Gorgeous masala, and makes an absolutely delicious tea!

about 250 gms
Black Pepper Powder
1/8th cup + 1 tbsp
Mix all the powders well, and store them in an airtight container. It can be stored for atleast an year.
For 1 cup of tea, use only 1/4tsp of this masala. Once you have used it and know its strength, then you can add it according to your taste.
