It tastes amazing with simple ghee roti, or even with simple dal rice.

INGREDIENTS Cucumber Coriander Leaves Sesame Seeds Salt Sugar Lemon Tadka Oil Jeera Mustard Seeds Curry Leaves Green Chilli Hing | QUANTITY 1/2 kg, chopped 1/2 cup, chopped (optional) 1 tbsp, roasted to taste 1 tbsp 1, juiced 1 tbsp 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp 5 - 6 1, cut into big pieces 1/4 tsp |
RECIPE
Peel and roughly chop the cucumber and coriander leaves (optional).
In a bowl mix them well. Add the sugar, salt and lemon juice. Stir well.

Heat oil and add green chilli chunks to it. Allow them to splutter for 30 seconds or so.
Add cumin seeds and allow them to cook for another 30 seconds.

Then add the curry leaves and allow them to cook for another 30 seconds.
Add the sesame seeds and allow them to crackle, but be careful as they don't take much time to burn.

Add hing and switch off the flame immediately.
Pour this tempering over the chopped cucumber and stir well, and serve immediately.
