INGREDIENTS Fish fillets Garlic Green Chillies Ginger Paste Coriander Leaves Lemon Salt Semolina Turmeric Oil | QUANTITY 2 large OR 500 gms (any fish you like) 4 - 5 medium cloves 2, depending on how spicy you want the fish to be 1 tsp 1 bunch, medium 1 medium, juiced to taste 50 gms 1/2 tsp to fry |
RECIPE
Cut the fillets into bite sized portions, rub sum turmeric on them and set aside for 10 minutes.
Grind green chillies, coriander leaves, garlic, lemon juice and salt, to a very fine paste. Add as little water as possible.
Put this paste on the fish, mix well, and set aside for atleast 1 hour.
Using a non-stick pan, heat some oil in it, roll the marinated fish pieces in the semolina and put them on the pan.
Cook on both sides using some oil, till they become golden brown or are well cooked.
P.S. Goes best with simple dal - rice.
